Pencil Drawing
Materials: Set of drawing pencils in varying hardness levels, kneaded eraser, white eraser, sandpaper block
Supply Fee: $30 per year
Length: 1 hour
In this class we will focus on basic drawing fundamentals using real life objects. We will use colored pencils, graphite pencils, and charcoal pencils. Homework will be assigned weekly in the form of sketchbook assignments that will vary from week to week.

I have been teaching drawing and art classes for approximately 10 years. I am an avid supporter of learning to draw from the roots up. With honed observation skills, students can learn to draw anything they want. I believe everyone can learn drawing skills and find ways to apply them to their life. My goal is to teach them to really see what is in front of them (not what they think they see) and to translate that onto a drawing surface. I love to teach and I love to see them improve and find a love for the skills they learn.
