Christina Hood has been teaching for over 6 years. She is passionate about building a Christ-centered community where families feels supported and encouraged. Christina was raised in Oklahoma and attended Zoe Christian Center in Lawton. Christina is excited to lead the team at Mosaic as the director. 

Christina, her husband, Derrick and their four children; KJ, Jordan, Zaria and LaDarius. Her homeschool journey began in 2020 with her daughter, Zaria and son, Ladarius. She is excited they are apart of Mosaic as well!

Born and raised in Texas, Amanda came to Oklahoma in 1995 to attend Oklahoma Baptist University. At OBU she studied Elementary Education and graduated in 1999 with her bachelors of science in education, minor in science and an emphasis in Literacy. While there she met and married her husband Ryan. Together they have 5 beautiful girls; Annalise, Mia, Mercy (who lives in Ghana, Africa), Ella and Livy. Amanda has been teaching Pre-K for the past 6 years.

Born and raised in Oklahoma City, Annalise attended Oklahoma State University and graduates in May of 2024 with her bachelors of science in Music Industry. Annalise has always loved math and has tutored math for the last 4 years. She also works at Mathnasium where she helps kids of all ages improve on their math skills.

Stephen Draper

Stephen Draper is a national award winning Digital Media Producer with a career spanning over 2 decades. Having worked in local news outlets, documentaries in the Middle East, faculty at Oklahoma Baptist University and now produces Oklahoma City Police’s media, Stephen is highly knowledgable in photography, videography and related media. One of his major passions is sharing that knowledge with a new generation of media artists and communicators.

Selynda Vass

Selynda Vass grew up in Oklahoma and attended Moore schools where she felt she had little talent apart from being the one her friends called for advice. Therefore, she pursued the idea of counseling and graduated Oklahoma Baptist University with BA in Family Psychology. Empolyment over the years includes, Oklahoma Baptist Homes for Children, OKDHS Education Specialist, National Resource Center for Youth Services (a division of OU), and Youth and Family Services. 

Selynda is the wife of Curtis, and they have served in family and children’s ministry for over 15 years. Their homeschool journey with their three children began in 2006. Soon they will only have three dogs left at home to “school.”

Selynda is a speaker, an author, speech and debate coach, a certified resource parent trainer and youth life skills trainer. She has taught Sunday school classes in some form 5th through 9th grade for 20 years, and worked part time with former foster youth age 16-23 for 10 years. Please do not brnig her chocolate. She is not a fan of that, but she is interested in most other types of cookies…like she is interested in a variety of types of people.
