Course Descriptions: Bonjour! In this fun and interactive French class designed for elementary-aged beginners, students will explore the basics of the French language through engaging themes like family, weather, animals, food and more. Each week, learners will will build vocabulary and conversational skills through songs, games, creative projects, and simple speaking and writing activities.

As we explore French language and culture, we’ll also reflect on how learning about other people groups–how they speak, eat, celebrate, and worship–helps us discover more about the Lord, His creativity, and His love for every nation and tribe. Through language, we get a glimpse into how vast and beautiful His creation truly is, and how the gospel transcends cultural boundaries.

We’ll learn to greet one another, describe the weather, talk about our favorite foods and pets, introduce ourselves, and explore everyday life in French-speaking countries. Grammar is introduced gently and in context, making it age-appropriate, accessible, and meaningful.

This course follows a structured curriculum designed specifically for young learners and includes opportunities for hands- on learning, creativity, and review games. Whether your child dreams of speaking French fluently or is just dipping their toes into a second language, this class will spark their curiosity, build their confidence, and grow their appreciation for how wonderfully diverse–and deeply loved–God’s world is.
