Pre-Algebra only: in addition to the above they will need the TI-30sx calculator
Algebra 1 only: in addition to the above they will need a ti-84 plus silver edition calculator (graphing calculator)

Pre-Algebra
Students will move into an understanding of the beginnings of algebraic reasoning. The course will cover variables, expressions, integers, solving multistep equations and inequalities, factors, exponents, ratios, proportions percents, linear functions, and rational and real numbers

Algebra 1
Students will gain a firm foundation and confidence to succeed in ore advanced mathematics. The course will cover solving and graphing equations, inequalities, linear and quadratic functions, and system of equations and inequalities. As well as, exponents, polynomials, factoring and radical functions.

Anne is a mathematics teacher who has taught all levels of math from elementary to high school. She believes that building student’s confidence in math is fundamental to their success. Anne holds a BS in Education from Texas A&M University.

Anne enjoys playing piano, baking, and spending time with her husband, John and daughter, Eve.
